Jensen Cheese will be closed on the Good Friday, April 2nd, 2010.
However we will be open on Saturday April 3rd, 2010 from 9am to 3pm.

In order to comply with tougher provincial environmental regulations,
the venerable Wilton Cheese factory will be installing a modern waste
water treatment facility to deal with the contaminated water used for
the
various processes conducted at the plant.

Jensen Cheese in Simcoe has extended hours during the holiday season.
Beginning Monday, November 30th, 2009 the hours will be as follows:
Monday to Friday
8:00am to 6:00pm
Saturdays
9:00am to 5:00pm
Sundays
Closed

Jensen Cheese was mentioned in a Taste T.O. article about "A Cheesy Soire", a Toronto Cheese event in March.
"Jensen Cheese also had some incredible cheddar on hand. Jensen's is not "raw milk" however- it's thermalized which involves heating the milk only to 60-65 Degrees C for 15 to 30 seconds then cooling before re-heating at the start of cheesemaking. In any case, I'm glad they were allowed at the ball."

Swiss Raclette (Switzerland)
A firm cheese that is used as the base of many fondue recipes. It melts and browns at high temperatures and adds character to grilled-cheese sandwiches. Has the taste of hazelnut, milk and butter accents with a rich aroma.
Maple Smoked 2 Year Old Cheddar (Manitoba)
